Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Substation up to 400kV)

Requirement – 1 No.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 5 to 7+ years of comprehensive design experience in Electrical EPC projects, with a strong track record of leading complete EHV substation (up to 400kV) and transmission deliverables.
• Software Proficiency: Expert level in system study and relay configuration software (ETAP, DIGSI, PCM600), as well as broad familiarity with primary/transmission tools (PLS CADD, standard CAD).
• Project Execution: Strong background in managing multidisciplinary technical interfaces (Civil, Telecom, MEP), answering site technical queries, and driving approvals from key utility stakeholders during critical project phases.

Primary Substation Engineering (GIS & AIS)

• Layout & Sizing: Develop complete primary engineering layouts, sections, and equipment sizing calculations for EHV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) up to 400kV.
• Major Equipment: Design integration layouts for including Switchgears (upto 400kV), Auto Transformers (e.g., up to 500MVA), Shunt Reactors, and Earthing Reactors.
• Modifications: Evaluate existing substation infrastructure for complex upgrades.

Vendor Coordination & Documentation:

• Review and assess vendor drawings, technical submittals, and equipment manuals to ensure they strictly align with the project's design intent and utility specifications.
• Coordinate technical clarifications directly with relay and equipment manufacturers to resolve design discrepancies before manufacturing and delivery.

Auxiliary, MEP & Interface Coordination

• Auxiliary Power: Design complete LVAC, 110VDC, and UPS systems, including auxiliary transformers and distribution boards.
• Metering: Define requirements for tariff metering systems, ensuring communication with automatic billing systems (AMI) and integration with client DCS.
• Fire & Security: Ensure active/passive fire protection systems (deluge water spray, FM200, cable coating) and Security Management Systems (CCTV, Access Control, ANPR) strictly comply with MOI-SSD guidelines and Law 09/2011.
• Civil Interfaces: Coordinate critical civil requirements, including GIS basements, transformer firewalls, structural gantries, and remote underground oil containment tanks.
