Electrical Design & Estimation Engineer (Control Panels)

Job Description

We are looking for two experienced Electrical Design & Estimation Engineers specifically from the Panel Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical designs and providing accurate cost estimations for various electrical panels.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare GA drawings, SLDs, and control wiring diagrams for PCC, MCC, APFC, and PLC panels.

• Analyze client inquiries/tenders and prepare detailed cost estimations and commercial quotations.

• Select appropriate switchgear, busbars, and components based on technical specifications.

• Liaise with the production team to ensure designs meet manufacturing standards.

• Coordinate with vendors for latest component pricing.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Electrical Panel Design and Estimation.

• Industry: Must have worked with a Panel Manufacturer.

• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of switchgear (L&T, Schneider, Siemens, etc.) and busbar sizing.

• Qualification: Not mandatory (Skills and experience are prioritized).

• Age: No limit.

• How many years of experience do you have specifically worked within an Electrical Panel Manufacturing company?

Are you proficient in creating GA (General Arrangement) and SLD (Single Line Diagrams) using AutoCAD?
Have you independently prepared commercial quotations and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for PCC, MCC, or APFC panels?
Do you have hands-on experience calculating Busbar Sizing (weight and cross-section) based on fault level and temperature rise? Are you able to reliably commute to our facility in Thane, MH for a full-time role?
