Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed electrical system designs, drafting schematics, and developing layouts for various construction and manufacturing projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative system designs and contribute to complex electrical engineering solutions across multiple industries.

Duties

  • Develop detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Creo.
  • Create comprehensive system designs for electrical systems, including layout design and system integration.
  • Utilize Bluebeam and NavisWorks for project review, coordination, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare construction documents, schematics, and technical drawings adhering to NEC standards and industry best practices.
  • Design PCB layouts and contribute to the development of electrical wiring diagrams for various applications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Assist in the selection of electrical components, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other control systems.
  • Conduct system analysis, review design modifications, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Support the integration of electrical systems into larger projects, including layout design for manufacturing or construction environments.

Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, NavisWorks, and Creo.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, NEC codes, and schematic development.
  • Experience with system design, electrical wiring, PCB layout, and layout design for complex projects.
  • Familiarity with drafting standards related to electrical systems and construction documentation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring practices, and control system integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in design accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
