Electrical Drafter/Designer

Job Description-

Electrical Project Engineer/Designer/Drafter position. The ideal person can perform all Electrical Project Engineer/Designer/Drafter design responsibilities for a project from conception to completion. The person will be heavily involved in the design of various project types, including K-12 schools, higher education, mixed use, commercial, residential, tenant improvements and office buildings.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

· Design Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm and Low Voltage Systems with minimum direction from Principal/Senior Engineer/PE

· CAD/BIM/REVIT expert level drafting and project engineering tasks as assigned by Principal/Senior Engineer/PE

· Occasional Client communications, as directed by Senior Engineer

· Minimum 5 years of Electrical design and drafting experience

· Proficiency in the following software: Revit 2025, AutoCAD 2025, BIM360, SKM Power Tools – short circuit, coordination, arc flash studies, Energy Pro 9 (10 now) – Title 24 compliance, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Ability to work and collaborate with internal and external teams

· Basic familiarity with related codes

· Job site investigations and traveling as required for client development and project execution. The expenses will be reimbursed

· Must have

excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,956.42 - $110,001.27 per year
