Electrical Draftsman

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draftsman to create accurate technical drawings and layouts for electrical systems in our projects. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in electrical drafting, strong proficiency in CAD software, and a solid understanding of electrical layouts, schematics, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Drawings & Drafting
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics for projects.
• Modify and revise designs based on project requirements and site conditions.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Coordination & Documentation
• Work closely with project engineers and site teams to ensure accurate drafting.
• Maintain and update records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and technical documents as needed.
• Technical Support & Site Coordination
• Provide technical support to the engineering team by interpreting drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding electrical layouts.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to ensure implementation aligns with drawings.
• Compliance & Standards
• Ensure all designs adhere to electrical codes, standards, and safety guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest electrical drafting tools and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as an Electrical Draftsman in electrical contracting or construction.
• Education: Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant certification in drafting.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit (preferred), and MS Office.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of single-line diagrams (SLD), cable routing, lighting layouts, panel schedules, and electrical symbols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
