Electrical Draftsman

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Electrical Draftsman** to prepare accurate technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for electrical systems in compliance with UAE standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support the design and execution of electrical works across various projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare **detailed electrical drawings** including power layouts, lighting layouts, ELV systems, load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and cable routing plans.
• Develop and update **MEP coordination drawings** ensuring alignment with architectural and structural plans.
• Convert engineer designs and sketches into **accurate AutoCAD/Revit drawings**.
• Perform **as-built drawings** based on site conditions and field modifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with **UAE regulations**, local authority requirements (ADDC, ), and international standards.
• Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and documentation as per project protocols.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and site teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Assist in preparing **BOQs, material take-offs**, and technical documentation when required.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3–5+ years of experience** as an Electrical Draftsman in the UAE (MEP or related sector preferred).
• Strong proficiency in **AutoCAD**; experience with **Revit MEP** is an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical systems: LV distribution, lighting, small power, grounding/earthing, and ELV systems.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations (ADDC) and submission standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
