Electrical Draftsman

Job Overview:
The Electrical Draftsman will produce accurate electrical drawings and schematics for projects, coordinating with engineers and designers to ensure the electrical layout and documentation meet technical standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update electrical plans, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and schematic drawings using CAD software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements to develop detailed electrical documentation.
• Work with electrical engineers to translate design concepts into workable drawings.
• Maintain drawing standards, ensure accuracy and consistency, and archive revisions appropriately.
• Assist with bill of materials preparation and coordination of electrical components and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with project team members to resolve drawing issues and support project timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and strong drafting skills.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, symbols, wiring practices and industry standards.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to work to deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
