About the Role

Universal BIM Technical Services LLC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on UAE experience in preparing electrical shop drawings and coordinating electrical systems for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Develop layouts and drawings for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and BIM teams to ensure design accuracy and clash-free installations.
• Revise and update drawings based on consultant, client, and project team feedback.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and applicable codes.
• Support project coordination, documentation, and timely project execution.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical drawings and specifications.
• Must be currently available in the UAE.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
