Electrical Draftsman/Designer

Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ambitious projects. The Electrical Drafts man will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation for various construction projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive UAE experience not less than 6 years and strong understanding of electrical systems, and proficiency with drafting software. Immediate availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements.
• Revise drawings as per client and project team feedback.
• Ensure all drawings conform to relevant UAE standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and technical files.
• Assist in material takeoffs and procurement activities.
• Support site teams during installation and commissioning phases by providing clarifications and technical support.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years UAE experience in a contracting environment, specifically in electrical drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting tools.
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Immediate availability is highly advantageous.
