Electrical Draughtsman

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of preparing accurate electrical shop drawings in compliance with UAE standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Draft layouts for lighting, power, small power, earthing, and lightning protection systems
• Prepare drawings for ELV systems such as Fire Alarm, Data, CCTV, Access Control, and SMATV
• Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, HVAC, and plumbing layouts
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, RFIs, and consultant comments
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority regulations (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.)
• Maintain proper layer standards, drawing templates, and documentation
• Support project teams during construction and coordination stages

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good understanding of electrical and ELV systems
• Knowledge of UAE codes and authority standards
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise projects
• Familiarity with shop drawing submission procedures
• Basic knowledge of MEP coordination
