ELECTRICAL DRAUGHTSMAN

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for interior fitout projects (villas, offices, retail units)

• Develop single-line diagrams, power layouts, lighting plans, and cable routing drawings

• Coordinate with MEP engineers, site teams, and consultants to ensure drawing accuracy

• Revise and update drawings as per site conditions, RFIs, and consultant comments

• Ensure all drawings comply with Dubai Municipality and DEWA standards

• Maintain proper document control and drawing registers

• Submit and follow up on drawing approvals with consultants and authorities

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in electrical draughting for interior fitout or MEP projects

• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); experience with Revit MEP is an advantage

• Sound knowledge of DEWA regulations, Dubai Municipality standards, and UAE electrical codes

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

• Good communication skills in English

• Candidates currently based in the UAE preferred
