Electrical Draughtsman - BIM

• Develop detailed 3D electrical models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards and specifications.
• Create and modify electrical drawings, including power distribution, lighting, and communication systems, for diverse projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate electrical designs and resolve conflicts within the BIM environment.
• Perform clash detection and resolve issues to ensure constructability and minimize on-site rework during the project phase.
• Generate accurate electrical schedules, bill of materials (BOMs), and other project documentation to support procurement and construction.
• Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in electrical designs.
• Participate in design reviews and meetings, offering technical expertise and contributing to project improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM software, electrical design trends, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM standards and templates for electrical design projects.
• Provide support to the project team with technical expertise and guidance on electrical design and BIM-related queries.
• Possesses a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Holds relevant certifications such as Revit Certified Professional or equivalent BIM certifications.
• Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical drafting and BIM modeling, with a focus on building projects.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and regulations.
• Exhibits proficiency in using BIM software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Shows strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Displays problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve design issues.
• Is proficient in English (written and spoken).
