ELECTRICAL & ELV ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical & ELV Engineer to manage and supervise electrical and extra-low voltage (ELV) systems for construction projects in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for design review, installation supervision, testing & commissioning, and coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with project specifications and Qatar regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Systems: Interpret drawings, supervise installation of power, lighting, MV/LV panels, containment, earthing, and lightning protection, ensuring compliance with QCS and Kahramaa. Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and prepare documentation.
• ELV Systems: Oversee installation and integration of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, PA, cabling, SMATV/IPTV, and BMS. Coordinate with ICT/security teams.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with civil/mechanical teams, liaise with clients/consultants, manage subcontractors, prepare method statements, monitor progress, and attend meetings.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to QCS, Kahramaa, Civil Defense, and local regulations; maintain HSE standards.

Experience & Skills: High-rise, commercial, hospital, infrastructure, residential projects; strong coordination, troubleshooting, cost control, QA/QC, and communication skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5–10 years GCC experience, knowledge of systems, standards, testing, AutoCAD, leadership skills, UPDA/MMUP (preferred), Qatar driving license (preferred).
