Electrical Engineer – High Voltage Connectors

Location: Mossville, IL (Onsite – Full Time)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and validation of High Voltage (48V–1500V) connector systems. This role involves cradle-to-grave ownership of connector components, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop technical solutions, manage project deliverables, and support product validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead High Voltage (48V–1500V) connector design and validation activities.
  • Manage component development from concept through production release.
  • Gather technical requirements from internal engineering teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain technical proposals, quotations, and lead times.
  • Drive project execution, risk mitigation, and schedule management.
  • Support testing, validation, and manufacturing implementation activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.

Team Structure

  • Work within a collaborative engineering team.
  • Team consists of 1 Team Leader and 1 additional team member.

Work Environment

  • On-site role in Mossville, IL.
  • Collaborative team environment.
  • PPE Required (Steel-Toed Shoes).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
  • Associate Degree accepted with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 4 - 7 years of engineering experience preferred.
  • Internship experience may be considered toward total experience.
