Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for designing electrical and electro-mechanical works for construction projects and providing on site supervision of the project.* Designs, or reviews consults project designs for, the electrical and electro-mechanical work including, but not limited to: o Drafting design drawings for electro mechanical works o Estimating the cost of new electro mechanical projects and renovation works o Preparing the BOQ, specifications and concerned documents for tenders o Reviewing the plans for Air Conditioning, drainage, and water supply for projects * Supervises university projects for a/c, electrical and electro-mechanical work, including but not limited to: o Acting as project liaison with local agencies o Approval of material and shop drawing submittals o Checking breakdown of Electro mechanical bill in the financial payments o Snag list Preparation at the end of the projects o Primary and final statements for handing over the projects o Monitors progress and quality of consultant/outsourced projects o Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Qualification

• Sound Technical Knowledge in designing Electro mechanical network * Project management skills * Vendor management skills * Proficiency in computers* Baccalaureate Degree in Civil Engineering or related field * 3 - 6 years relevant experience

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

Expected Skills

Up to 6 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering
