Electrical Engineer

UAE DEWA Approved is Mandatory

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with DEWA approval and UAE experience to manage and execute electrical projects in compliance with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DEWA submissions, site supervision, and coordination with local authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs, load schedules, and SLDs as per DEWA and Dubai Municipality regulations
• Handle complete DEWA submission process including online applications, drawing uploads, and load calculations
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings and safety standards
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and DEWA officials for timely approvals
• Use AutoCAD for electrical layouts, lighting, and power design
• Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical systems on-site
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience, with at least 2–5 years in DEWA-related projects
• Valid DEWA approval/license is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality codes and DEWA standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and MS Office
• UAE driving license preferred

Skills Required

• Expertise in electrical system design and site execution and pricing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with solar systems and MEP integration is a plus
