Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose:

To plan, design, execute, and supervise electrical systems for high-rise buildings and transmission/distribution projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and implement electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, communication, and control systems for high-rise structures.
• Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams (SLD), and BOQs for electrical works.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, NFPA, and local regulatory codes.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, and mechanical teams to integrate electrical designs into the project.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Perform site inspections to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Handle HV/LV equipment including transformers, switchgears, panels, cabling, and earthing systems.
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and documentation for project milestones.
• Ensure energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in design and execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the project execution.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies during all activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Valid PEC registration (or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of proven experience in high-rise / transmission & distribution projects.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, and MS Office.
• Familiar with transmission systems (11kV, 33kV, 132kV, etc.) and substation works.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
