Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

Sarhand Packages is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to manage and maintain the electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within our carton manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring smooth operations of electrical components such as inverters, motors, control panels, reels, and related automation systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in inverter handling, inverter sinking applications, reel drive systems, and power distribution, along with compliance to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the packaging/carton manufacturing industry or a similar industrial setup.

· Strong knowledge of inverter handling, inverter sinking applications, reel stands, and drive systems.

· Hands-on experience in PLC systems, automation, and motor control circuits.

· Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and preventive maintenance practices.

· Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns effectively.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications & Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance & Operations: Ensure smooth functioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including efficient inverter handling and sinking operations critical for carton industry machinery such as reel stands and drives.
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive schedules and corrective actions to minimize breakdowns, ensure calibration, and maintain proper maintenance records.
• Process & Energy Optimization: Monitor machine performance, optimize inverter/drive settings, and recommend energy-efficient improvements for cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce electrical safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with codes while training staff on safe operations and emergency handling.
• Coordination & Support: Collaborate with internal teams, support installation and upgrades, and liaise with vendors/contractors to ensure reliable electrical operations.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
