Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION – ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

1. Define customer needs and requirements

2. Designing, Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings

3. Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time

4. Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication

5. Making presentations to clients and coworkers

6. Attending company meetings

7. Creating product/service documentation and records

8. Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets for customers and other employees

9. Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards

10. Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation

11. Testing electrical equipment/components for problems and proposing solutions

12. Monitor maintenance and inspection plans

13. Summarize data and report on test results

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS – ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

1. A degree in Electrical Engineering; MSc is a plus

2. Having a minimum 4-year experience in UAE preferably with ADM Practicing Engineer License, ADDC Engineer Competency, Equivalency Certificate, etc.

3.Must have prior experience with estimation works.

4. Hands-on experience using design and calculation software

5. Advanced mathematical skills for calculation of design equations

6. Excellent communication skills to explain technical specifics to peers and customers

7. Writing skills for preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals and design documentation

8. Problem-solving abilities and ability to supervise technicians

9. Focus and concentration to understand complex electrical systems

10. Self-motivation to keep up with current electrical advances using new technologies.

11. Using industry-specific tools to analyze and test electrical equipment/components

11. Time-management skills for meeting deadlines

12. Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
