Electrical Engineer

Position Summary:

JGMS Government Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team as part of the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project, which is a multi-site organization engaged in the design, production, testing, and delivery of advanced training simulators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical drafting
• Collaborate with other engineers to create or modify designs and drawings
• Review supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office® Products

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in performing electrical engineering drafting
• Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques
• Experience in creating or reviewing electrical engineering designs based on approved requirements
• Proficiency using SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and/or AutoCAD
• Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Proficiency with low voltage electrical distribution, audiovisual, or telecommunications
• Other

Security Clearance:

A current active DOE/DoD Security Clearance - Secret, Top Secret, L or Q is required.

Background Check and Screenings
