Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and implement fire alarm and detection systems in compliance with NFPA, UAE Civil Defense, and international standards.
• Prepare electrical drawings, load schedules, single-line diagrams, and system layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines on system integration.
• Perform site inspections, testing & commissioning of fire alarm and fire detection systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with local authority (Civil Defense) regulations.
• Prepare technical submittals, material approvals, and method statements.
• Provide technical support during project execution and post-installation.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment selection and procurement.
• Assist in obtaining project approvals from relevant authorities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in home country and more than 3 years experience in UAE fire protection industry.
• Preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Defense regulations, NFPA, and local fire codes.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, etc.
• Civil Defense approved Engineer is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP), voice evacuation, emergency lighting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
