Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer (2–5 years of experience) to help design, program, and test embedded systems that drive our product performance and support our customers’ needs.

Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer at Command Access, you’ll play a key role in developing and improving our embedded systems and microcontroller-based products. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, hardware and software teams, and production to bring innovative ideas to life — from concept to testing to real-world implementation.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop microcontroller-based systems for embedded, automation, and control applications

· Develop and implement firmware using C, C++, and assembly language

· Collaborate with hardware engineers to select components and design complete systems

· Integrate microcontroller-based systems with higher-level software applications

· Develop and execute test plans to ensure reliability and performance

· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and firmware issues

· Document all design, development, and testing activities

· Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians as needed

· Stay up to date on new microcontroller technologies and embedded system best practices

· Follow all company safety protocols and engineering standards

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

· 2–5 years of experience in electrical design, embedded systems, or firmware development

· Strong programming skills in C, C++, and assembly

· Experience with microcontroller development tools (compilers, debuggers, simulators)

· Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripherals (ADCs, DACs, timers, serial interfaces)

· Working knowledge of circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule & Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position with regular business hours. Schedule will be:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits

· Pay Range: $85,000 – $110,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications)

· Full-time, non-exempt position

· 401(k) with employer match after 6 months of employment
