Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems for residential, commercial, and/or infrastructure projects, with hands-on site experience and thorough knowledge of local regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Supervise electrical installations on-site to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Ensure adherence to UAE authorities’ regulations (DEWA/ADDC/SEWA, Civil Defense, etc.)
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Prepare technical reports, material submittals, and method statements
• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety standards
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP contracting or electrical engineering in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of DEWA submission procedures and local authority requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and manage site activities

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Electrical Engineer: 5 years (Preferred)
