Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment used in fastener manufacturing processes. The role includes ensuring smooth functioning of machines such as heading machines, thread rolling machines, furnaces, plating lines, compressors, and material handling systems. The engineer will handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of panels, motors, drives (VFDs), PLC-based systems, lighting, and power distribution while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities also include coordinating with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime, monitoring energy consumption, maintaining documentation, supervising electricians, and supporting new machine installations and upgrades. The Electrical Engineer must ensure adherence to statutory electrical norms and contribute to continuous improvement, cost reduction, and plant efficiency.
