ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in diesel generator systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supervising electrical activities, supporting fabrication and testing processes, and ensuring compliance with electrical standards across generator projects.

Must have proven experience with diesel generator systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of junior technicians while coordinating closely with senior technicians during fabrication, assembly, and testing of diesel generator sets.
• Oversee electrical installation, panel wiring, and integration of generator control systems.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams and switchgear panel layouts, using AutoCAD.
• Lead generator testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities to ensure performance and reliability.
• Establish electrical evaluation criteria and provide technical guidance to assess projects against applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of drawings, test reports, and compliance records.
• Support quality control, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and client inspections when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with diesel generator systems (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of generator control panels, switchgear, protection systems, and synchronization concepts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design and layout preparation.
• Hands-on experience with generator testing procedures and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to manage teams and work effectively in a factory and site environment.
• Good understanding of international electrical standards (IEC, ISO, etc.).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
