Electrical Engineer

CONIN International Consultants is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5 to 10 years of professional experience to join our team. The candidate should have strong experience in electrical building services design and coordination for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design drawings and calculations (power, lighting, ELV, earthing, lightning protection)
• Develop design concepts and detailed construction drawings
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines
• Prepare authority submission drawings and respond to comments
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, and local authority requirements
• Support project coordination meetings and design reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit MEP knowledge is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, DCD, etc.)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
