Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to manage and execute electrical works at construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, coordination with consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all electrical works at the construction site (HT/LT, lighting, power, earthing, lightning protection, DG, transformer, ELV systems).
• Review electrical drawings, layouts, and BOQs as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors, architects, and civil teams.
• Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Plan and monitor material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory norms, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
• Prepare daily progress reports and coordinate site activities.
• Handle electrical authority approvals and inspections when required.
• Monitor contractor performance, billing verification, and measurement certification.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems used in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with IS standards, NBC, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience in site execution and coordination.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic).

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in construction or real estate projects.

Preferred Experience

• High-rise residential, commercial buildings, villas, or township projects.
• Experience in MEP coordination and handover documentation.
