Electrical Engineer

Location: Industrial Area, Qatar
Sector: Electrical Maintenance, Repair & Overhauling (Gensets, Transformers, Motors)

Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, testing, and overhauling of heavy electrical equipment. The role involves site supervision, technical diagnostics, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise transformer testing (BDV, PI, DAR, Ratio, Winding Resistance), oil filtration, and overhauling
• Manage rewinding, dynamic rotor balancing, and testing of MV/LV motors and generators
• Supervise on-site electrical works ensuring safety and quality standards
• Oversee LV panel fabrication, installation, and commissioning
• Diagnose faults, prepare technical reports, and provide effective solutions
• Support business development, client coordination, and preparation of quotations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• UPDA/MMUP Certification – Mandatory
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of diesel gensets, transformers, and motor testing
• Sales or business development experience is an advantage
• Qatar Driving License preferred
