Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising electrical systems for various construction and infrastructure projects. The role requires knowledge of local regulations, authority approvals, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Review: Prepare and review electrical designs, drawings, and load calculations as per project requirements.
• Authority Approvals: Ensure compliance with RAK Municipality, FEWA, Civil Defense, RAKEZ, and other relevant authorities.
• Site Supervision: Monitor and inspect electrical installations at project sites to ensure adherence to approved designs and safety standards.
• Coordination: Work closely with clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs and installations comply with UAE regulations, DEWA/FEWA standards, and international codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, BS).
• Testing & Commissioning: Assist in the testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Project Documentation: Prepare reports, material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (UAE equivalency preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a consultancy or construction environment.
• Certifications: FEWA approval is an advantage.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), Dialux, ETAP, and MS Office.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• UAE Experience: Preferred, with knowledge of local regulations and approval processes.
• Driving License: UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
