Electrical Engineer

7–10 Years Experience

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with 7–10 years of proven experience in the UAE construction sector.

Mandatory: Experience in Main Contracting or Consultant environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in site execution, authority coordination, and full lifecycle management of electrical works across large-scale building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all electrical works including LV systems, power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and earthing systems.
• Oversee execution from design coordination through testing & commissioning and final handover.
• Review electrical drawings, load calculations, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal MEP teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, and safety standards.
• Liaise with local authorities (DEWA / SEWA / ADDC / Civil Defense) for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are delivered as per schedule.
• Manage subcontractors, manpower planning, and quality control.
• Support commercial team in variation orders, cost control, and claims management where required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of UAE construction experience.
• Mandatory experience in Main Contracting or Consultant firms.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV systems, power distribution, lighting control, and ELV systems.
• Experience handling high-rise / commercial / residential / mixed-use projects.
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of UAE authority standards and approval processes.

Preferred:

• Experience in large-scale or multi-tower developments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead site teams and manage project timelines independently.
