Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for the design, review, execution, and supervision of electrical systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, architectural) to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Supervise on-site electrical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure adherence to local codes, international standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, method statements, and progress updates.
• Evaluate contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during design and construction phases.
• Support project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards (IEC, NEC, or equivalent).
• Experience in construction supervision and site execution.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, and similar).
• Good understanding of project management principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
