KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in the UAE . (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Demonstrated experience on high-rise building projects . (Mandatory)
- Immediately available or short notice period
- Currently residing in the UAE
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Key responsibilities
- Prepare LV & HV power distribution designs and supervise installation of switchgear, panel boards, MDB and SMDB
- Prepare and review electrical designs, single-line diagrams, layouts, and AutoCAD drawings
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and protection coordination and supervise short-circuit testing and verification
- Engineer solar PV and energy efficiency solutions and supervise installation, commissioning, and performance testing
- Configure BMS and SCADA systems and supervise building automation installation and commissioning activities
- Manage fire alarm, ELV, structured cabling, CCTV, and access control system integration
- Prepare material submittals and method statements and supervise contractor workmanship against approved specifications
- Submit authority approval packages and supervise inspections through to final energization
- Maintain as-built drawings and project documentation and supervise site progress to ensure milestones are delivered on time
- Coordinate MEP disciplines across all trades and supervise resolution of on-site technical conflicts and RFIs
- Establish quality control and HSE procedures and supervise safety audits and site inspections on a regular basis
- Supervise material deliveries and installation progress reporting
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input to consultants and clients
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, RFIs, and technical submittals
