Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Electrician to join us and work alongside our established electrical team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician who wants to grow and apply their skills within the growing low-carbon energy sector. You’ll work across a mix of domestic and commercial projects, from solar PV and battery storage installations to heat pump electrical connections and EV charging infrastructure.

Working alongside our experienced installers, you’ll be an important part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team. We’ll support your continued development with manufacturer training and accreditation in renewable technologies.

Key Responsibilities (Depending on Experience)

  • Install, test, and commission solar PV systems, battery storage, EV chargers, and associated electrical infrastructure.
  • Carry out first and second fix electrical work across domestic and commercial projects.
  • Support electrical connections for air-source heat pump and heating system installations.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out periodic inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition, Amendment 2).
  • Prepare and issue EICR, EIC, and MCS commissioning documentation to the required standard.
  • Collaborate with our mechanical, design, and project delivery teams.
  • Ensure all work meets MCS, Part P, NAPIT, and health & safety requirements.
  • Complete accurate test certificates, commissioning records, and project documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and uphold PCL Net Zero values on site.

What We’re Ideally Looking For,

✓ Proven experience as a qualified Electrician in domestic and/or commercial environments.

✓ NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.

✓ 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.

✓ Experience in inspection, testing, and certification.

✓ Excellent problem-solving, fault-finding, and organisational skills.

✓ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

✓ Full UK driving licence.
