Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in low-voltage electrical distribution design for FMCG and process plant facilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing power system studies and developing engineering deliverables such as single-line diagrams, cable layouts, grounding, lighting, and equipment arrangement drawings in compliance with NEC, UL508A, IEEE, and NFPA70E standards. This role requires strong coordination with clients, vendors, and site construction teams to support project execution and system validation activities.

Job Description

• Work as an Electrical Engineer and develop design of electrical distribution system for FMCG process plant
• Perform power system studies on electrical distribution system of the plant.
• Discus with client to align on the project scope.
• Collect the required inputs required for developing the required Engineering packages.
• Coordinate with various vendors and site construction team for completion of the design packages.
• Provide support to study the panels for UL508A compliance.

Skills Required

• Experience as an Electrical System Studies Engineer on electrical distribution system for process plants.
• Experience in LV Electrical Distribution Design Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC.
• Sound Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and IEEE standards pertaining to electrical equipment. substations, Transformers, 480V panels, MCC, VFDs, Distribution panels, Lighting and grounding design.
• Knowledge of Cable sizing, conduit sizing, power and control panel design, lighting calculation, grounding design, cable tray sizing, cable tray layout design.
• Develop Engineering information packages, bill of materials, elementary drawings, single line drawings, equipment arrangement.
• Knowledge on Electrical Safety requirements.
• Develop and lead the IQOQ activities.
• Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

Pay Rate/Salary

• Pay Rate $55/ hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
