Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Site Management
- Supervise and execute electrical works for water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Handle installation of electrical systems including power distribution, MCC panels, control panels, field instruments, cable trays, conduits, and lighting systems.
- Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, supervisors, and project teams.
- Ensure project execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
Electrical Installation & Commissioning
- Supervise cable laying, glanding, termination, and testing activities.
- Perform testing and commissioning of MCCs, PLC panels, VFDs, motors, pumps, blowers, and instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate with automation and process teams during startup and commissioning activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during execution and commissioning stages.
PLC, SCADA & Automation
- Coordinate PLC, HMI, and SCADA system integration activities.
- Support automation teams during logic modifications, I/O checking, and system testing.
- Ensure proper communication between field instruments and control systems.
Documentation & Technical Coordination
- Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, control schematics, and technical submittals.
- Prepare material take-offs and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Prepare inspection requests, testing reports, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, and suppliers for approvals and technical clarifications.
Health, Safety & Quality
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company safety procedures at site.
- Conduct electrical works in accordance with international standards and local authority regulations.
- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to QA/QC procedures.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Support operation and maintenance activities of treatment plants whenever required.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in motors, control systems, and field equipment.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to STP, WTP, RO, UF, and desalination plants.
- Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation, and MCC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting documentation.
Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
