Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to support the efficient operation, reliability, and performance of electrical systems and production equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and technical support activities to ensure production continuity, minimize downtime, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, production machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Machine Calibration & Performance Optimization

• Execute machine calibration activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify deviations affecting efficiency or product quality.
• Support production teams in maintaining optimal equipment functionality.

Preventive Maintenance & Reliability

• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Contribute to reducing recurring equipment failures through proactive maintenance practices.
• Support efforts to improve equipment availability and operational reliability.

Compliance, Safety & Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and calibration records to support ISO, GMP, HSE, and other audits.
• Collaborate with Quality and HSE teams to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Installation & Technical Support

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams during commissioning activities.
• Verify proper functionality and performance of electrical systems and equipment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Technical Support teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide timely updates on equipment status, maintenance activities, and performance concerns.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, and calibration work.
• Prepare reports related to equipment performance and maintenance effectiveness.

QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting production equipment, machinery, and utility systems.
• Hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Experience in printing, packaging, or related industries is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults effectively.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of machine calibration processes and equipment performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance documentation and reporting.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per hour
