Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer (Head of Operations- Electrical Department)

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Electrical Engineer to lead the Electrical Department of our Mall. The candidate will be responsible for smooth operation, maintenance, safety, reliability, and compliance of all electrical and related building systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead overall electrical operations and maintenance activities of the mall.

2. Supervise HT panels, LT panels, transformers, generators, ATS/UPS systems, DBs, lighting, earthing, and related electrical infrastructure.

3. Plan and implement preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.

4. Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns.

5. Ensure uninterrupted operation of power distribution, backup power, and building electrical systems.

6. Lead and coordinate electricians, technicians, supervisors, vendors, contractors, and tenant representatives.

7. Coordinate with relevant government departments, utility companies, and regulatory authorities for approvals, statutory compliance, inspections, and operational matters.

8. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and Mall operating procedures.

9. Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, breakdown reports, inventory records, and spare parts data.

10. Support budgeting, cost control, procurement planning, and vendor evaluation for electrical works and materials.

Qualification

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

· PEC registration will be preferred.

Experience

· 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical operations and maintenance.

· Experience in malls, commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, high-rise buildings, or large facilities will be preferred.

· Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, power distribution, generators, ATS/UPS systems, electrical safety, and facility maintenance.

· Previous experience in a leadership role will be an added advantage.
