Primary Responsibilities
- Project Management: Manage projects, coordinate with clients, supervise designers, perform quality control checks and assist with template development/maintenance.
- Building Design: Design lighting and power systems for commercial buildings utilizing 3D design software (Autodesk Revit).
- Calculations: Perform lighting photometric calculations.
- Field Work: Conduct project site visits and field investigations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one state.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of electrical design or installation experience preferred.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is highly preferred (experience with similar 3D/CAD programs will be considered). Strong general computer skills (Microsoft Office, email).
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong organization, excellent writing/problem-solving abilities, and a customer-service mindset.
Schedule & Flexibility
- Typical Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work-Life Balance: We emphasize true work-life balance and disconnecting while not on the clock.
- Flexibility: Hours are flexible, allowing for time off during the week for personal errands or appointments. Occasional remote work opportunities are available.
- Banked Overtime: Any overtime worked is banked and can be used later for additional vacation time.
