Gulf Technical Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a long- term Oil & Gas project in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

Qualifications:

*Batchelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, or

*Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.

*2-3 years of experience in similar Electrical Engineer role in the Oil & Gas industry.

*Experience in turnaround/shutdown projects involving 250,000+ man hours.

*Strong maintenance experience with electrical equipment and systems.

*Experience using CMMS, preferable SAP.

Technical Skills:

*HSE and Process Safety Management.

*ETAP studies, protection calculations, and relay settings.

*Synchronous machines

*Power and distribution transformers.

*HV/LV switchgear

*Variable Speed Drivers(VSD)

*UPS and battery chargers.

*Electrical power Management Systems.

*Earthing systems

*Lighting and HVAC systems.

*PLCs and microprocessor- based protection relays.

*Primary and secondary injection testing.

*Hazardous Area IEC 60079 standards.

*Single Line Diagrams, P&IDS, PFCs , and engineering drawings.

*Kahramaa Authorized Switching Engineer certification is an advantage.
