Job Title: Electrical Engineer – DC Systems & Substations
Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai | Full-Time

Pixcom Energy is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer with experience in utility and substation environments. The role involves leading site teams in installation, testing, migration, and maintenance of DC power systems including battery chargers, battery banks, DCDBs, rectifiers, and associated equipment.

Key Highlights:

• Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of DC systems, rectifiers, DCDBs, MCC panels, and VCU units
• Supervise battery technologies (VRLA, Ni-Cad, Lead Acid) and lifecycle management
• Conduct load calculations, redundancy assessment, and system cutovers
• Prepare and review MoS, ITPs, risk assessments, and technical documentation
• Manage site teams, coordinate with clients, OEMs, and consultants
• Ensure strict HSE compliance in live substation environments
• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and brownfield upgrades

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in utility, transmission, or substation projects
• Proven hands-on experience with DC power systems, rectifiers, DCDBs, batteries, and redundant systems
• Experience in brownfield upgrades preferred
• Experience with TAQA / TRANSCO projects or similar is a plus
• TAQA Competency Certification is an advantage
