Electrical Engineer –Design

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for design of electrical systems and/or communications systems; ensuring that these systems meet applicable standards & codes.
• Supervise team for the design, implementation, maintenance, and improving the electrical/electronic systems
• Provide Design support for Various Electrical Services (HT/LT/ELV/ICA etc.) including design calculations and conceptual design drawings
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Oversee the project’s conception, design and specifications and manage scheduling, estimating and securing materials.
• Manage technical matters in projects and provide not only technical recommendations within the targeted project budget
• Ensuring the compliance of construction activity to best industry standards, international codes, planned timelines, allotted budget, company strategy and goals.
• Ensure all paper works submission (e.g., Vendor Approval Submission, Project Reports and Schedule submission and works executed on sites are according to specification, drawings and project requirement)
• Lead and mentor a group of engineers in the preparation, checking and submission of drawings, catalogues and calculations and identifying issues that affect project delivery
• Develop method of statements and risk analysis studies
• Effective communication between engineering, technical, construction, and project control group
• Co-ordinate with clients, consultants on the technical requirements and attend technical discussions and meeting with authorities, developer, and contractors
• Co-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and own teams including group representatives for implementation of the projects and ensuring it is being built correctly and timely delivery of works
• Monitoring and carrying out quality check on progressive completed work
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
• Prepare calculation reports / technical notes, and review those prepared by other team members
• Work closely with the procurement team and suppliers
• Represents Company at technical meetings with clients, stake holders and serves as the company's technical representative to clients and suppliers
• Ensure proposals are compliance with the company’s quality procedures, client`s requirement and relevant/latest standards & regulations are updated accordingly
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or a related filed.
• Preference locations from Delhi, Bangalore, Kerala, Chennai & Karnataka.
• Having electrical design experience in commercial – hotels, hospital, office complex, mixed development, housing, resort, villa, Infrastructure & small-scale industries will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in the electrical design filed is must.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written skills in English.
• Exposure in overseas projects would be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
