Electrical Engineer (Design & Estimation Specialist)

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical system designs, drawings, and schematics in compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layout planning.
• Prepare accurate cost estimations, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and material take-offs for projects.
• Review technical specifications, tender documents, and client requirements to ensure design accuracy.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and project managers to align designs with overall project goals.
• Provide technical support during project execution, resolving design or estimation-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety codes, electrical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Optimize designs to balance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design and estimation (construction, power, or related industry).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, local regulations).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cost-estimation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
