Electrical Engineer (ETA STAR ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING)

ETA Star Engineering & Contracting W.L.L. is a MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) contracting company in Qatar.

Core Responsibilities

An Electrical Engineer in ETA Star Doha is usually responsible for site-based electrical works, including:

1. Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise electrical installation works (wiring, panels, cabling)

Ensure work is done as per approved drawings and standards

Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors

2. Technical Coordination

Review electrical shop drawings and design documents

Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and ELV teams

Resolve site technical issues with consultants

3. Testing & Commissioning

Inspect and test electrical systems before handover

Support commissioning of LV systems, lighting, power distribution

Ensure proper load testing and system functionality

4. Project Management Support

Track progress of electrical works on site

Prepare daily/weekly reports

Monitor manpower, materials, and site productivity

5. Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards

Enforce electrical safety procedures on site

Conduct inspections and quality checks

Key Skills Required:

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge of LV systems, power distribution, ELV systems

AutoCAD (basic to intermediate)

Site supervision experience (MEP projects preferred)

Strong coordination and communication skills
