Electrical Engineer - Fresh Qatari Graduate

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Mowasalat. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems for bus operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. The incumbent will lead electrical engineering projects, optimize performance, and support innovation in sustainable transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Design & Development

• Assist in designing electrical systems for bus operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance
• Develop electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications
• Conduct site surveys to assess infrastructure requirements and upgrades

Project Management & Coordination

• Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for effective communication and collaboration
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies

Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Reliability

• Implement proactive and predictive maintenance schedules
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical issues
• Leverage data analytics and IoT for performance optimization

Electrical Safety, Compliance & Innovation

• Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and regulations
• Conduct compliance audits and implement corrective actions
• Research emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability

Data Analytics, Testing & Commissioning

• Analyze data from smart systems to optimize electric bus operations
• Support testing and commissioning of charging infrastructure and electric buses
• Document asset performance reports and track KPIs

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Required GPA - 3.0)

Experience

• Fresh Graduates or up to 2 years of experience
