Newgrange Design, located in Wakefield, MA, plans to add an Electrical Engineer I to our growing company. If you have great technical skills, enjoy working with people, are interested in a variety of technical challenges, and want the hands-on work of a small company, this is an exciting opportunity. This is a role for someone who wants to help BUILD THINGS. It is not just software or coding. There will be firmware, but that is to help support the hardware. It is real electrical engineering meant to build real electronic hardware. July 9th is the current start date for this role.
Job Description:
Newgrange Design is currently a forty-five person, growing business that focuses on electronic hardware design. We are looking for the next great person to join our team. The quality of our team is the key to our success. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our small Engineering Group which is a smaller group working in conjunction with our larger PCB Design team. Both teams support various customers across several industries. Projects range in size and scope from simple (days) to complex (months-long). The ideal candidate is someone who has interests in learning about several areas of design and works well in cross-functional teams. It would be expected that the Electrical Engineer I will cross train in PCB Design and support this team as well.

As a service bureau, we work for our customers, so strong personal skills and patience are critical to job success as well organizational skills and flexibility. The successful candidate must be able to listen attentively and speak and write clearly when describing complicated issues.
