Electrical Engineer - Industrial Experience

Eshratex Spinning S.A.E, a world-class textile group established in 2006, is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer - Industrial Experience to join our team in Alexandria, Egypt. This is a FULL_TIME position within our state-of-the-art facility, which specialises in producing 100% cotton, fine, and superfine count yarns. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the electrical systems and machinery that are central to our high-quality production process. You will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency, reliability, and safety of our advanced equipment from leading global manufacturers such as RIETER, Schlafhorst, and Savio.

Responsibilities

* Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all industrial electrical systems, control panels, and production machinery to minimise downtime.
* Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
* Diagnosing and rectifying complex electrical faults in PLCs, motors, drives, and other automated systems.
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform installations and repairs.
* Ensuring all electrical work complies with company and industry health and safety standards.
* Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment.
* Collaborating with the production and mechanical maintenance teams to ensure seamless plant operations.
* Identifying opportunities for system improvements and energy optimisation.
* Maintaining an organised inventory of electrical spare parts and components.

Qualifications

* A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
* Proven professional experience as an Electrical Engineer within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Strong practical knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, and industrial control systems.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* A thorough understanding of electrical safety procedures and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience within the textile manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with machinery from the manufacturers mentioned (RIETER, Schlafhorst, Savio, LUWA, etc.) would be a significant advantage.
