Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and system design, with experience in FPGA development, signal processing, and firmware integration. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in manufacturing and system automation, utilizing advanced CAD tools and programming languages. Duties
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components using schematics, PCB layouts, and CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Develop FPGA-based solutions and implement programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes.
- Perform system analysis using ANSYS, MATLAB, and other simulation tools to optimize performance.
- Write and debug firmware in C++, Python, Perl, and scripting languages to support embedded systems and signal processing applications.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems with mechanical designs utilizing Revit and CAD tools.
- Conduct debugging of electrical circuits and firmware to troubleshoot issues during development and manufacturing phases.
- Create detailed schematics for electrical systems ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on electrical system integration and testing.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and system configurations for project continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven experience with FPGA development, signal processing, firmware programming, and system design.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks; experience with MATLAB is essential.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics creation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, C++, and embedded firmware development.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working alongside mechanical engineers is a plus.
- Experience with manufacturing environments and understanding of electronics integration within production processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in debugging electrical circuits and firmware issues.
