About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Overhead Transmission Lines to join a major project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and oversight of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design and engineering calculations for overhead transmission lines (OHTL) up to high voltage levels.
• Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and documents for OHTL projects.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for new transmission line routes.
• Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, SASO).
• Provide technical support and resolve any engineering issues that arise during project execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure all work adheres to strict safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and as-built drawings.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of proven, hands-on experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of overhead transmission lines.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of tower design, foundation types, conductor selection, and insulator strings.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro).
• Strong understanding of power systems and grid integration.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
