We’re looking for a creative and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team
developing smart IoT products. You’ll design and test connected devices that
combine intelligent features, wireless communication, and sleek consumer-grade
design. This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with firmware,
mechanical, and marketing teams to bring new ideas to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical hardware for smart home IoT devices.
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts (Altium Designer preferred).
  • Evaluate and qualify new components, suppliers, and technologies.
  • Integrate sensors, microcontrollers, and wireless modules (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, GPS, UWB).
  • Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams for full-system integration.
  • Develop and execute hardware test plans and validation procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex electrical systems.
  • Support compliance testing and product certification (FCC, CE, UL).
  • Perform system testing and debugging of electrical components and firmware to guarantee reliability in real-world environments.
  • Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on electrical systems compliance with NEC standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware design for consumer or IoT

products.

  • Strong knowledge of serial protocols (SPI, I²C, UART, USB, Ethernet).
  • Experience with RF design, motor control, and low-power systems.
  • Skilled in the use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and test equipment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with smart home standards (Matter, Thread, Zigbee).
  • Knowledge of compliance and manufacturing processes (DFM/DFT).
  • Experience designing systems that operate from battery power, including Li-

ion, LiFePO₄, and primary cell chemistries, and implement efficient charging
and power-management circuits.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
