Summary of Position:
As an Electrical Project Designer supporting our Energy/EPC business unit, you will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical engineering projects under the guidance of Electrical Engineers/Project Managers. you are responsible for the design, coordination, and technical oversight of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects based throughout the country. This position focuses primarily on electrical design, code analysis and ensuring designs meet project specifications, and client standards while maintaining efficiency, safety, and constructability.

Responsibilities:

Develop and create detailed design concepts for power generation equipment and electric vehicles using software such as AutoCAD

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure designs meet project specifications

Conduct code research under the management of professional engineers

Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients and team members to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetics.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

E.I.T would be a plus

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD

Desire to learn design of power generation or electric vehicle industry.
Team:
This role will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and work closely with a team of Designers and Engineers.
Work Location:
This is a hybrid role that will sit in our Somerville, NJ office.
