Electrical Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems (LV, MV, ELV, lighting, power distribution, etc.).
• Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labor from drawings and BOQs.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost summaries, breakdowns, and pricing sheets.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project management teams to gather data and ensure cost accuracy.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and tender submissions.
• Track and update cost data and pricing trends in the market.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and coordinate with consultants/clients as required.
• Provide value engineering and cost optimization suggestions when necessary.
